Robledo is hype. Also He is Risen
Ya guys basically I'm just super happy here. The area has hills but it also has super cool views of the city so it's fine. My comp Elder Moes is a dawg, super funny and with a drive to work. And there is work to do here! We have a lot of people who have been taught like once and never again haha. It's cuz Elder Moes' last comp finished his mission and went home in week 4 so he was only working in our area half of the time.
Also, my eye is doing a lot better. Most of the swelling and bruised area is gone. But now I have a huge bump on my eyelid, and it looks like something bit me. President called me to talk about my eye and said that it was probably a spider bite and that it should get better on its own.
| bruising on eyelid looks so much better, but you can still tell it's there. |
Happy Easter! It was amazing to study the last week of Jesus Christ in his mortal ministry. I've always loved the scripture from Luke (haha) in the part in the garden of Gethsemane.
Luke 22:42-44
42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. 43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. 44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
Jesus Christ suffered for all our sins. Being sinless, He payed the price for literally billions of us. It's pretty much impossible to understand, but I'm grateful for my testimony of Him and His mission. I don't even want to do the dishes when they aren't mine! Haha but like fr though. And he did it for his love for us.
He put down his life for us, so let's do it for one another! It's not literally obviously, but we can give our lives in the service of others.
Super happy here and I hope y'all are doing good too.
