Juiciosos

 Hey guys


Ya so this week was pretty chill. My companion and I get along super well, laughing a lot recently. Just kind of a random example was we were in the elevator going to our apartment and then it stopped and a teenage couple came in and it was like an awkward silence and then the kid just starts silently cracking up and his girlfriend gets super embarrassed but then my comp and I also start silently laughing and then we got to our floor and just starting dying. Not even that funny but man we were dying. 

But ya it's been going good! I had an exchange with Elder Díez and that was fun. We stayed in my area together and just worked hard. This week we have been doing a lot more contacts in the street without much success but hey we are doing our part. We also started the exercise grind and that has been really good.

But ya just a good week. We were able to have a visit with a guy named John, it's cool because my comp had to use the bathroom and so he went into a restaurant and asked and I was waiting outside and then homie just walks up to me and asks if I'm a missionary of the church of Jesus Christ. He said he was like raised by a member family and hasn't been to any church in a long time but is interested. He came to church last week and we talked to him on Sunday, and it was cool because he has a lot of faith in the priesthood. But then he didn't come to church yesterday lol. So I guess we shall see. Also that one family Palacios aren't really progressing anymore... rip. Partly because last we have heard the mom was in the hospital and ya. They have a super tough life but hopefully someday along the line they can all get baptized. 

On Sunday it was fun because we went to these 2 older ladies in our ward and one of their sons and played some board games with hot chocolate and all that jazz. We got home like 30 minutes late for the Sunday Devotional but we were in the middle of a game of Skull King so what are you gonna do, you know?





I did a pretty cracked study of the small and simple things and how they make a big change in our lives over time. Alma 37:6-7 are awesome but I also really liked this one from Doctrine and Covenants 64:33 

Wherefore, be not weary in well-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great.

So ya, just do the little things. Everyday.

Stake Conference and Last Transfer

  What's up homies. Ya so these past 2 weeks were pretty good but also weird. We had stake conference and also zone conference with Prez and the wifey. Stake conference was fun-ish, just a long 2-hour meeting haha. But they had some good messages. But my comp and I were super tired and slept through a few talks, but we were hidden in the corner so don't worry about it.  But ya also we had the zone conference.  That was fun but also strange to think that I only have one left! It was great, talking about setting goals and that the Lord is speeding up the work and we need to as well.  President announced some big changes in our mission, which will really make it like a normal mission but it's gonna be very different. For example, we have district council at 6pm on pday. So we don't work at all on pday. Now it's gonna be on Tuesday morning so we can work at 6 on pday. We also are now supposed to be out of the house by 10 in the morning! I'm really happy about that o...

Party Week

  Hey y'all how's it going. So this week was another good one! We had 2 family home evenings this week and both had a lot of friends and fun games. One was with the family Varon, mafe, los elderes, Alex and Andrea, and Helmer on Friday. Then on Sunday night we were with Maribel y Sebastian, family Varon, Nancy and her kids, and Diana y Johnny. Both super fun!!  Also on Sunday we moved houses because the rent in the house we live in is going up a ton this month, so we are switching it up. Although we were very busy, we didn't end up moving our stuff until around 10:30 at night lol. The new house is nice, with a pretty fancy couch. Our bedroom is nice cuz we have a big window that gets good airflow, natural light to make it easy to wake up, and a decent view!  But ya other than that just your average week here. We Good

  Howdy there partner. This week was a good one, just working hard to get people to come to church and get baptized so that they can recieve more joy and peace in their lives through Jesus Christ. And this week was pretty good! We had 4 people come to church this week, and most importantly Carolina came and she has a baptismal date for June 29th! Imma miss it by a few days but it's chill. But ya it was a good week. We had a fun little activity on Friday and it rained so not many people came but we had some friends pull up and we shared about how to prepare for the second coming and the book of Mormon helps us a ton. Then we played a little game and that was fun. Then had a small treat and headed home.  Also I've been enjoying a lot more fast food this past week. I've only got a few more weeks to enjoy the delicious salchipapa and buñuelos so I'm trying to live it up. We had a little family night with the family Paniagua Diaz and that was fun.
