Goodbye Villa Hermosa

 Hey guys, transfers!! I'm going to leave Villa Hermosa but stay in Medellín. I'm going to Robledo with Elder Moes! Never met him but people say he's cool. I'm super excited!!



This week really great but also super tough. We had a lot of busy days this week which is always nice. Just meeting a lot of people and teaching them!! But it was hard because I woke up Thursday morning with like a bruised eyelid. It has gotten worse each day lol. At first, we went to the pharmacy and the chick gave me some cream to help but she thought it was pink eye and so it didnt help at all. Then I bought a thing that's like icy hot which has helped with like the uncomfortableness, but my eye gets more and more closed each day and darker in color lol. But it has been funny hearing all of the Colombian advice. For example:
  - put a hot bean on it
  - pee into a cup and put it directly on your eye
  - ice it
  - find a rooster and when it drops and egg quickly put the egg on your eye. Only works if the egg recently popped out
  - tie a black string on your big toe. It has to be black and should be put on the opposite foot of the eye



And then to make it worse on Saturday night idk what I ate or what, but I was puking and in the bathroom like all night lol. But it was my last Sunday and I wanted to say goodbye to my peeps so I went and man my back was killing me the entire time. Just dead bro, 0 energy. So we didn't work on Sunday cuz of me being in some pain haha. But now I'm feeling better and my eye is dark but less swollen so we chillin.

But we had a lot of friends come to church! Pretty much everyone showed up late but we had 8 people!! Super awesome. I feel like the last week before I leave an area there is either 0 people at church or a crazy amount.

Stake Conference and Last Transfer

  What's up homies. Ya so these past 2 weeks were pretty good but also weird. We had stake conference and also zone conference with Prez and the wifey. Stake conference was fun-ish, just a long 2-hour meeting haha. But they had some good messages. But my comp and I were super tired and slept through a few talks, but we were hidden in the corner so don't worry about it.  But ya also we had the zone conference.  That was fun but also strange to think that I only have one left! It was great, talking about setting goals and that the Lord is speeding up the work and we need to as well.  President announced some big changes in our mission, which will really make it like a normal mission but it's gonna be very different. For example, we have district council at 6pm on pday. So we don't work at all on pday. Now it's gonna be on Tuesday morning so we can work at 6 on pday. Party Week

  Hey y'all how's it going. So this week was another good one! We had 2 family home evenings this week and both had a lot of friends and fun games. One was with the family Varon, mafe, los elderes, Alex and Andrea, and Helmer on Friday. Then on Sunday night we were with Maribel y Sebastian, family Varon, Nancy and her kids, and Diana y Johnny. Both super fun!!  Also on Sunday we moved houses because the rent in the house we live in is going up a ton this month, so we are switching it up. Although we were very busy, we didn't end up moving our stuff until around 10:30 at night lol. The new house is nice, with a pretty fancy couch. Our bedroom is nice cuz we have a big window that gets good airflow, natural light to make it easy to wake up, and a decent view!  But ya other than that just your average week here.   Howdy there partner. This week was a good one, just working hard to get people to come to church and get baptized so that they can recieve more joy and peace in their lives through Jesus Christ. And this week was pretty good! We had 4 people come to church this week, and most importantly Carolina came and she has a baptismal date for June 29th! Imma miss it by a few days but it's chill. But ya it was a good week. We had a fun little activity on Friday and it rained so not many people came but we had some friends pull up and we shared about how to prepare for the second coming and the book of Mormon helps us a ton. Then we played a little game and that was fun. Then had a small treat and headed home.  Also I've been enjoying a lot more fast food this past week. I've only got a few more weeks to enjoy the delicious salchipapa and buñuelos so I'm trying to live it up. We had a little family night with the family Paniagua Diaz and that was fun.
