i ❤️ buñuelos

 Hello.

This week was pretty chill, just your average week 6. I've started buying buñuelos every single night. (fried dough covered in cinnamon and sugar).

Transfer news! Elder Marín is going to another area in Medellín lol. But I'm getting a new comp. Elder Vega. He's from Ecuador and he's actually from like some tribe thing or something where the culture is for the men to have long hair like until their waist. So that's his hair! I'm pretty excited for another transfer here!

The family Palacios is still doing good, they came to church yesterday! We had lunch with Mateo, a cool YSA homie and it poured outside so that was fun.

Oh also there is this homeless guy who every Wednesday like at 9:30am and yells at our entire apartment building, "good morning! Anything you can give me, food, shoes, clothes, I will take! God bless you!" And so I tossed him down an apple, and then it totally exploded when it landed. In retrospect it's probably not a good idea to toss an apple from 5 stories up haha.

I was knocked out for like 2 hours during studies

2 scriptures this week!

Joshua 1:9
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

John 6:66-69
66 ¶ From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
