Average, on the grind week

 Hey guys-

So this week was kinda tough because like we had a family and another dude on baptismal date but then none of them came to church, so it's kinda tough. But some other people came and really liked it! Elder Vega is a super cool guy and we get along great so at least I got that going for me. But those people that had the baptismal dates I think we can talk to them this week and get them to lock in, if not... well let's just say that I don't have much patience with people who don't come to church. To me it makes no sense like at all. But I mean people can do what they want I guess.

Um other than that it was just your average on the grind week. I got sick on Wednesday and we stayed at home the whole day. We also found a bus that takes us up the giant hill we have and we can just do that at the beginning of the day and then spend the rest of the day walking down so that's nice.

Today we went to "el hueco" which is the hole. But it's like just a huge huge place with anything you could ever imagine being sold there. I bought a new soccer jersey for $3 and then a new pair of clippers. We also got pizza and Coca-Cola. Before my mission I never drank soda but now I love Coca-Cola. Not the best thing ever but it is what it is.  We also played soccer for awhile.

Today I hit 20 months lol. For the people that do the "6 months to sexy" thing I think that is super dumb. I've only got a few months left in Colombia, I gotta live it up and eat everything I can! I'll do the 6 months thing after I get home bro.

I didn't email last week so I guess I should mention we met this dude whose name is Cristian and he wants to stop drinking and he was super motived and came to church two weeks ago and accepted a baptism goal but then didn't come yesterday... we shall have to see what's up with that.

Last pday we went to a trampoline park and then did some super fast go karts. It was kinda expensive but super fun. But ya dude, just living it up here in Medellin, it's a hype place to be. Especially on pday haha there is a ton to do. Before you ask yourself, is it allowed for missionaries to go to a trampoline park or ride go karts? I will say that I don't know and we didn't ask permission either. It's always better to ask forgiveness than permission. Life lesson.  {You can watch attached video if you'd like.  Luke comes in around the 34 second mark.}

D&C 45:62 For verily I say unto you, that great things await you.

Ya bro, but thanks for reading. Mom, I love you and I hope you appreciate the fact that I'm probably the best missionary in the world at writing my emails every week.

Chao pues-
