I ❤️ Paisas
Hello.
It was a good week! It went by super quick though. We gave a baptismal date of March 3 to the family of 5 and they accepted and came to church again yesterday! The members are helping out a lot so that's awesome. Also a lady who was being taught a few months ago just kinda out of the blue decided to get baptized so that's fun. She's been coming to church a ton but never wanted to commit but now she does!
Yesterday was super fun because one of the YSA kids (Mateo) was turning 23 and so the mom invited us to lunch at their house but then it was also a surprise party for Mateo and all the YSA from the ward were there. It was fun to hang out for a min and eat a ton, lol.

But ya other than that it was just your average week out here in Medellín. Elder Culler and I now have the morning habit of playing a game of chess. That has been fun haha. Also a few nights of cover your assets.

Also, back in my old area Lindaraja they had 4 baptisms! The family Arciniegas of 3, and then Diana Marcela that we taught before I left!!! They are super great families and it's so awesome that they were able to get baptized! Things are going good.

Last night after our devotional I played chess with Elder Culler while listening to Elder Uchtdorf's YSA devotional thing. I really liked it! He pretty much said that as long as we trust God and work hard, the dots will come together and everything will work out. It was pretty funny cuz he started out by saying "Am I blessed or what?" Lol. Same bro.
Alma 29:9-10
...and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy. 10 And behold, when I see many of my brethren truly penitent, and coming to the Lord their God, then is my soul filled with joy; then do I remember what the Lord has done for me, yea, even that he hath heard my prayer; yea, then do I remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me.
