Staying another transfer

Hola!  Week 6 of the transfer just finished, and it was a good one!  We did exchanges this past week, and I went with Elder Condorie to his area.  We visited some members and taught a lesson in a bakery.  Then we went to a ward party and that was pretty fun (not the main Christmas party, but another activity).  We got the inside scoop on transfer news a little bit early from a secret friend up in Medellin who told us, so we knew we were staying.

Saturday night we went up to the zone leaders' house because we were going to have a district conference with President Lythgoe himself in Armenia, and we had to go to the church way up there, so we went over the night before.  We ate some burgers and pizza and played some poker.  It was fun because I kept not looking at my hand and betting everything I had and still winning it.  It was super funny.

We had the district council the next morning which was great.  We talked about repentance, covenants, and prayer, and I really liked it.   I'm excited to stay with Elder Cloward another transfer in Lindaraja and be here for Christmas.

I've been trying to focus more on charity this week.  Here's a scripture that I like about it- Moroni 7:47-48:

47 But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.

48 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ; that ye may become the sons of God; that when he shall appear we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this hope; that we may be purified even as he is pure. Amen.

Chao!
