Week Won

The title has literally 0 meaning, I just thought of it and it looks cool and its an awesome alliteration.

This week was good ish! We worked really hard this week and were very diligent and always looking for ways to be productive. I have been reading Jesus the Christ and The Articles of Faith by that one Talmage guy and I've learned so much!! The only low part of the week was on Sunday, when pretty much none of our friends came to church, a stark difference from last week. But on the Sunday Night Mission call my best friend from Chile shared a cool experience.

Elder Cloward


The theme of the call was about faith. Faith is a decision. We show faith first, then the miracles come. All the missionaries were talking about their cool experiences and I'm sitting there thinking, "I showed lots of faith this week. And on top of that, I showed my faith by working super hard this week. Where was my miracle?" Then Elder Penaloza shared a small experience in which they had been trying hard all day to find new people but no one was interested. He expressed the same thoughts I did. Then he said, "when our faith doesn't change our circumstances, it is changing us."

So I'm going to keep on working hard! Elder Cloward is a great comp, never complains about anything and is willing to work late into the night with me. It has been a good week one and it's going to be a good transfer!

Side note: I learned how to juggle! We had lunch with the Prz of Elders Quorum and he was again showing us his magic and then showed that he could juggle and then turns out my comp can, so I have grinded the past 2 days and I'm getting pretty decent.

Stake Conference and Last Transfer

  What's up homies. Ya so these past 2 weeks were pretty good but also weird. We had stake conference and also zone conference with Prez and the wifey. Stake conference was fun-ish, just a long 2-hour meeting haha. But they had some good messages. But my comp and I were super tired and slept through a few talks, but we were hidden in the corner so don't worry about it.  But ya also we had the zone conference.  That was fun but also strange to think that I only have one left! It was great, talking about setting goals and that the Lord is speeding up the work and we need to as well.  President announced some big changes in our mission, which will really make it like a normal mission but it's gonna be very different. For example, we have district council at 6pm on pday. So we don't work at all on pday. Now it's gonna be on Tuesday morning so we can work at 6 on pday. Party Week

  Hey y'all how's it going. So this week was another good one! We had 2 family home evenings this week and both had a lot of friends and fun games. One was with the family Varon, mafe, los elderes, Alex and Andrea, and Helmer on Friday. Then on Sunday night we were with Maribel y Sebastian, family Varon, Nancy and her kids, and Diana y Johnny. Both super fun!!  Also on Sunday we moved houses because the rent in the house we live in is going up a ton this month, so we are switching it up. Although we were very busy, we didn't end up moving our stuff until around 10:30 at night lol. The new house is nice, with a pretty fancy couch. Our bedroom is nice cuz we have a big window that gets good airflow, natural light to make it easy to wake up, and a decent view!  But ya other than that just your average week here.   Howdy there partner. This week was a good one, just working hard to get people to come to church and get baptized so that they can recieve more joy and peace in their lives through Jesus Christ. And this week was pretty good! We had 4 people come to church this week, and most importantly Carolina came and she has a baptismal date for June 29th! Imma miss it by a few days but it's chill. But ya it was a good week. We had a fun little activity on Friday and it rained so not many people came but we had some friends pull up and we shared about how to prepare for the second coming and the book of Mormon helps us a ton. Then we played a little game and that was fun. Then had a small treat and headed home.  Also I've been enjoying a lot more fast food this past week. I've only got a few more weeks to enjoy the delicious salchipapa and buñuelos so I'm trying to live it up. We had a little family night with the family Paniagua Diaz and that was fun.
