Week Too

Hello family and friends and friends of my mother who read these emails.

It was a good week! I would say the best thing that happened was that we were able to contact Daniela who told us that she still wants to be baptized and so we talked about the importance of coming to church every week on the Sabbath and she committed to start coming every week and came yesterday! We are now working to get her baptized on November 23. Fingers crossed lol.

Another cool little miracle we were able to see this week was that one day on the way to lunch we left a little earlier than usual, took a different route than usual, and while walking on the street a lady came up to us and asked if we were the missionaries of the church of Jesus Christ. We told her no and kept walkin.

Then on Saturday night it was fun because Elder Cloward and I ordered some salchipapa and bought a bunch of ice cream and candy to watch some chosen church videos.

But nah with that one lady in the street, we talked to her and she said she had come to church a few times last year but was then diagnosed with cancer and stopped going and then lost her phone and got a new phone number. We wrote down her new phone number and invited her to church! She came and told us that she had received chemotherapy the day before but woke up with the energy to come to church. Now that is faith.

But ya just a good week! This week will be good as well because we are going to Medellin baby. Should be fun! We are gonna listen to a general authority I think.

I would like to share my current favorite scripture. Jesus was nearing his death and in an effort to put at ease his worrying apostles and loved ones he says to them and to all of us:

"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you... Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
