MultiZona!

 Hey guys!

This week we had our multlizone conference in the Aleje (Armenia, Periera, and Manizales) part of the mission! It was a super awesome and the AP's had a super fun little game in which we all made paper airplanes and attempted to throw them at a target that was attached to President Lythgoe's chest haha. Pretty much everybody failed but Elder Gallman actually hit him! The point of the game was to show that we need to plan ahead, but then while in course we need to make adjustments if we actually want to make it to our target (weekly planning -> daily planning). And it was super fun to be there with some old comps and talk to everyone.

Pres. Lythgoe

It was fun to take a bus as a zone on the hour trip to the other city and we played some mafia and stuff. That night Elder Grant came with Elder Bond and I to our area and worked with us a little bit. He's a cool guy that I haven't been able to meet before in my same group!  We then finished the night by buying some hot dogs and making some smores and it was super fun.

With Elder Grant

Other than that it was a pretty normal week. Elder Bond and I have been playing basketball a lot in the mornings so that has been fun. Also yesterday a lady gave us 2 fish to cook up for dinner and I gave it a try with my new cooking skills, and it actually turned out super good if I do say so myself.

The weeks are flying by though. I feel like time just slips away and before I know it the day is over and I need to head to bed even though there are still lots that I would like to do!!

Feliz cumpleaños Hermana Preciado!

Spiritual thought this week is from the BYU talk called "Be 100% responsible" - it's a super great one!! But a summary is that I have decided to try to improve on stopping procrastination, complaining, and rationalizing my actions. Also I have found yet a new scripture that I love:

2 Timothy 1:7-8
"7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord..."

Shout out to Grandma Jan for telling me what her favorite scripture was, the rest of you gotta step it up.
