Life is Good

 To whom it may concern,


Thank you to all of you who sent me your favorite scriptures this past week.  This week was a good one!  We had exchanges with the zone leaders on Tuesday and so they invited us over on Monday night to stay the night and also the Elderes from Calarca were there, so it was really fun. We played some 21 with cards and definitely did not bet any money at all because that would not be good. But ya then we all woke up to go play some basketball with a 3v3 which was super cool too!




Then I had a fun day with Elder Diaz from Argentina!! He is a really chill guy who loves mate, like 99% of people from Argentina. Then the next day we went back to Lindaraja (my area) and Elder Gallman told us we have way to much trash from the past and we need to throw everything away. This house has been used for years by missionaries and we found old DvD players with church movies and stuff and got rid of a ton of stuff. Now the house is super clean and it feels great!



Then I had an exchange with Elder Becerril who is serving in a small town about an hour and a half away! He is from LA but his parents are Mexican so we whipped up some tacos that night that were really good. 




We also had a super fun lunch on Saturday with the elders quorum Prez because he was showing us all of his magic tricks and he has 2 little granddaughters that were also teaching us like shadow puppet hand stuff. That family is awesome.

Proverbs 21:19




In terms of missionary work, its going great here! Right now we have 4 people that have a date to be baptized and they are all super cool. Marbin is totally ready but he doesn't feel like it, so pray for that homie. Yurany and her daughter Victoria are also super amazing, I saw them both highlighting the scriptures we shared with them and marking the pages and then in church yesterday Yurany was taking notes in 2nd hour. Goated. Then there is Diana who is on a vacation right now in another city but is still going to church and wants to get baptized de una.

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men...

Stake Conference and Last Transfer

  What's up homies. Ya so these past 2 weeks were pretty good but also weird. We had stake conference and also zone conference with Prez and the wifey. Stake conference was fun-ish, just a long 2-hour meeting haha. But they had some good messages. But my comp and I were super tired and slept through a few talks, but we were hidden in the corner so don't worry about it.  But ya also we had the zone conference.  That was fun but also strange to think that I only have one left! It was great, talking about setting goals and that the Lord is speeding up the work and we need to as well.  President announced some big changes in our mission, which will really make it like a normal mission but it's gonna be very different. For example, we have district council at 6pm on pday. So we don't work at all on pday. Now it's gonna be on Tuesday morning so we can work at 6 on pday. We also are now supposed to be out of the house by 10 in the morning! I'm really happy about that o...

Party Week

  Hey y'all how's it going. So this week was another good one! We had 2 family home evenings this week and both had a lot of friends and fun games. One was with the family Varon, mafe, los elderes, Alex and Andrea, and Helmer on Friday. Then on Sunday night we were with Maribel y Sebastian, family Varon, Nancy and her kids, and Diana y Johnny. Both super fun!!  Also on Sunday we moved houses because the rent in the house we live in is going up a ton this month, so we are switching it up. Although we were very busy, we didn't end up moving our stuff until around 10:30 at night lol. The new house is nice, with a pretty fancy couch. Our bedroom is nice cuz we have a big window that gets good airflow, natural light to make it easy to wake up, and a decent view!  But ya other than that just your average week here. We Good

  Howdy there partner. This week was a good one, just working hard to get people to come to church and get baptized so that they can recieve more joy and peace in their lives through Jesus Christ. And this week was pretty good! We had 4 people come to church this week, and most importantly Carolina came and she has a baptismal date for June 29th! Imma miss it by a few days but it's chill. But ya it was a good week. We had a fun little activity on Friday and it rained so not many people came but we had some friends pull up and we shared about how to prepare for the second coming and the book of Mormon helps us a ton. Then we played a little game and that was fun. Then had a small treat and headed home.  Also I've been enjoying a lot more fast food this past week. I've only got a few more weeks to enjoy the delicious salchipapa and buñuelos so I'm trying to live it up. We had a little family night with the family Paniagua Diaz and that was fun.
