Hey guys! This week was great! After a little bit of stressful planning, we baptized la hermana Xiomara!!! It was really awesome and she has a super strong testimony. One thing that was cool was that not a lot of people showed up (she didn't want a lot of people cuz she was nervous) but the Hermano Montesinos said "Even though we are few, if we could have eyes to see the spiritual side we would see that this room is full of angles who are very excited for you." And you could feel it! Missionaries always like to say "there is a party in the heavens tonight" when someone gets baptized and it's true! 



Also Jose got baptized! The other 2 elders were teaching him and he is also super super cool. It was a fun night. Also another district in our zone had a "white night" and had 4 baptisms! So that was cool to hear about too. The work goes forth baby.



Other than that we had a chill week. We had exchanges with Elder Aurich and Hatch, I went to Medellin with Elder Aurich and we has a good time. Medellin is so huge! And super pretty if you are in the right spot. 





This transfer has gone by quick! It's already the last week! We were listening to a conference talk this morning while cleaning and I really like what the dude said. Basically something like "there is a difference between rebellion and weakness. God is merciful with the weak." Nobody is perfect, but Jesus helps us with our weaknesses (Ether 12:27)! But if we justify sin by saying "I'm weak! I can't help it! It's just how I am!" then you are denying what Jesus died for. He died to give us forgiveness and strength.

Stake Conference and Last Transfer

  What's up homies. Ya so these past 2 weeks were pretty good but also weird. We had stake conference and also zone conference with Prez and the wifey. Stake conference was fun-ish, just a long 2-hour meeting haha. But they had some good messages. But my comp and I were super tired and slept through a few talks, but we were hidden in the corner so don't worry about it.  But ya also we had the zone conference.  That was fun but also strange to think that I only have one left! It was great, talking about setting goals and that the Lord is speeding up the work and we need to as well.  President announced some big changes in our mission, which will really make it like a normal mission but it's gonna be very different. For example, we have district council at 6pm on pday. So we don't work at all on pday. Now it's gonna be on Tuesday morning so we can work at 6 on pday. We also are now supposed to be out of the house by 10 in the morning! I'm really happy about that o...

Party Week

  Hey y'all how's it going. So this week was another good one! We had 2 family home evenings this week and both had a lot of friends and fun games. One was with the family Varon, mafe, los elderes, Alex and Andrea, and Helmer on Friday. Then on Sunday night we were with Maribel y Sebastian, family Varon, Nancy and her kids, and Diana y Johnny. Both super fun!!  Also on Sunday we moved houses because the rent in the house we live in is going up a ton this month, so we are switching it up. Although we were very busy, we didn't end up moving our stuff until around 10:30 at night lol. The new house is nice, with a pretty fancy couch. Our bedroom is nice cuz we have a big window that gets good airflow, natural light to make it easy to wake up, and a decent view!  But ya other than that just your average week here.   Howdy there partner. This week was a good one, just working hard to get people to come to church and get baptized so that they can recieve more joy and peace in their lives through Jesus Christ. And this week was pretty good! We had 4 people come to church this week, and most importantly Carolina came and she has a baptismal date for June 29th! Imma miss it by a few days but it's chill. But ya it was a good week. We had a fun little activity on Friday and it rained so not many people came but we had some friends pull up and we shared about how to prepare for the second coming and the book of Mormon helps us a ton. Then we played a little game and that was fun. Then had a small treat and headed home.  Also I've been enjoying a lot more fast food this past week. I've only got a few more weeks to enjoy the delicious salchipapa and buñuelos so I'm trying to live it up. We had a little family night with the family Paniagua Diaz and that was fun.
