Rionegro con frío

Hey everybody! We had transfers last week so I was traveling the whole pday, but it's been a crazy 2 weeks!

I got moved out of Sahagun after 1 transfer because like 30 missionaries left and we only got 12, so a few areas got closed including mine. I'm now in Rionegro with Elder Alexander! Rionegro is a town/city like an hour outside of Medellín. It's been awesome! It's a lot cooler, one of the coldest areas in the mission! Which really isn't that cold, but at night you can throw on a sweater! We also have a gym in the apartment which means we are allowed to go and it's been fun.

Rio Negro means "Black River", as the city received its name after a river that looks black because of the shadows cast by trees.

Leaving Sahagun was kinda sad though. I had made some good friends in the branch and was expecting to stay longer. But I'm loving it here!

We also got a new mission president! Presidente y Hermana Lythgoe. We had a multizone conference this past Friday and so I was able to meet them and they are really cool! It was also fun to see some old comps and friends in the Medellin multizona. Elder Briggs, Elder Martinez, and Elder Evans haha. (also Elder Santizo, who was in my MTC group.)

But the message that President gave I really liked. He talked about how Jesus didn't do anything that wasn't the will of the Father, and that if we are doing our best to follow His will, we are doing all we need to. That was a big comfort in the missionary work for me. All I need to worry about is if I'm doing what I need to be doing. Y ya!

John 5:30 "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."

Chao chao,
Elder Bingham
