1 Year~

Hey everyone! I'm one year old in the mission! I made sure to buy some ice cream and hamburgers and party it up at night with the boys.

It's been crazy! This week was also the Colombian Independence Day and so a lot of people were out drinking on Saturday. We were down in the main part of town when a guy in the street (very drunk) asked if we could drive him home in his car because he's drunk. We told him no obviously, but then we kept the conversation going.  We were talking some in English and then I said to him (in Spanish):
"Hey I really like your shirt!"
"Muchas gracias amigo."
"Will you give it to me?
"Of course!" And then proceeded to take of his shirt, hand it to me, and then walk away.

So I got a new shirt! It's from Vans so I'd say it's a "steal!"

But ya, it was a good week. I had to give a talk yesterday and the bishop told me like 10 minutes before the meeting started lol. I talked about procrastination and focused on a talk that President Eyring gave in April 2007 called "This Day" and it's a great talk and you should all give it a listen. And you should do it today, not tomorrow bro.

But ya, I hit a year! It's been super fun, lots of meeting new people and other missionaries and having fun with them but then also lots of really good spiritual experiences. I wouldn't say I've had any "pillars of light", but I have had a lot of rays! The other day we were teaching a guy about prophets and their importance, and I gave my testimony about the homie Joseph Smith and felt the Spirit telling me what I'm saying is true! Just stuff like that. And obviously there are miracles, but that's one of the best parts of the mission. Sharing your testimony wherever you are, whoever you talk to, and feel the Spirit as you do so!
