USA 1- 5 Colombia

 Hello guys! 


This week was super fun.  Elder Evans was kinda dying on the weekend with some stomach pain and a bad headache. But it is what it is.  We were at lunch on Saturday and we just happened to catch a little bit of the men's soccer game (and when I say a little bit, I mean most of it. 😏).  Colombia beat USA 5-1.



We had some really good lessons with Alexandra, she's been really cool. We gave her the book of Mormon and suggested to read 3rd Nephi 11 and we came back after a few days and turns out she read all of that, the introduction, all of the testimonies, then read the whole book of Enos!! 


We had a lot of fun this week with exchanges with Elder Hellwig and found an inactive family that then came to church! Then finished the night with a family home evening and that was super fun. Still grinding the ¡Uno! with the pensionista Ana, haha. This morning we played bball, bought supplies for pancakes and made them at her house and played uno for a little bit. 





We also had a fun English Class this past Wednesday with a pretty good turn out! I kinda just sat in the back and then helped people do the practices. But it was really cool!



Another thing I think I've never mentioned before is that I bought guitar like 2 weeks ago! It's been fun to learn a new instrument and play some really good music, the hymns!

Stake Conference and Last Transfer

  What's up homies. Ya so these past 2 weeks were pretty good but also weird. We had stake conference and also zone conference with Prez and the wifey. Stake conference was fun-ish, just a long 2-hour meeting haha. But they had some good messages. But my comp and I were super tired and slept through a few talks, but we were hidden in the corner so don't worry about it.  But ya also we had the zone conference.  That was fun but also strange to think that I only have one left! It was great, talking about setting goals and that the Lord is speeding up the work and we need to as well.  President announced some big changes in our mission, which will really make it like a normal mission but it's gonna be very different. For example, we have district council at 6pm on pday. So we don't work at all on pday. Now it's gonna be on Tuesday morning so we can work at 6 on pday. We also are now supposed to be out of the house by 10 in the morning! I'm really happy about that o...

Party Week

  Hey y'all how's it going. So this week was another good one! We had 2 family home evenings this week and both had a lot of friends and fun games. One was with the family Varon, mafe, los elderes, Alex and Andrea, and Helmer on Friday. Then on Sunday night we were with Maribel y Sebastian, family Varon, Nancy and her kids, and Diana y Johnny. Both super fun!!  Also on Sunday we moved houses because the rent in the house we live in is going up a ton this month, so we are switching it up. Although we were very busy, we didn't end up moving our stuff until around 10:30 at night lol. The new house is nice, with a pretty fancy couch. Our bedroom is nice cuz we have a big window that gets good airflow, natural light to make it easy to wake up, and a decent view!  But ya other than that just your average week here. We Good

  Howdy there partner. This week was a good one, just working hard to get people to come to church and get baptized so that they can recieve more joy and peace in their lives through Jesus Christ. And this week was pretty good! We had 4 people come to church this week, and most importantly Carolina came and she has a baptismal date for June 29th! Imma miss it by a few days but it's chill. But ya it was a good week. We had a fun little activity on Friday and it rained so not many people came but we had some friends pull up and we shared about how to prepare for the second coming and the book of Mormon helps us a ton. Then we played a little game and that was fun. Then had a small treat and headed home.  Also I've been enjoying a lot more fast food this past week. I've only got a few more weeks to enjoy the delicious salchipapa and buñuelos so I'm trying to live it up. We had a little family night with the family Paniagua Diaz and that was fun.
