Your Average Week

 Hello everyone!

This week was pretty normal, talking to lots of people who like to listen but don't ever do anything we ask them to, lol. But an interesting little fact about Sahagún is that nobody does anything when it rains or even looks like it's going to rain. We had an English class on Wednesday and only one friend, Onis, came because it was raining, and then on Sunday morning it had rained that night and was cloudy in the morning so a lot of people that said they were gonna come to church did not. I mean, it makes a little sense because they have to walk or drive in moto, but also, they always say that the rain makes them sick. Like if you get sick at all people just say, "Ah ya it's because of the rain."

We had a really fun family home evening thing last night with some recent converts! We had some members come, they made popcorn, we played a game and shared a spiritual thought, and it was really fun.

We played basketball this morning at the downtown park and we were having a bunch of fun but then out of nowhere like a parade came and surrounded the court. It was some little kid soccer event, lots of little kids in jerseys and their parents taking team pictures but it was really fun because they were loud and blasting music and I felt like I was in the NBA with a huge crowd around me. They brought in the energy and I put on a show for them 😎

I listened to a talk called the "The First Great Commandment" by Elder Holland (October 2012) and it was amazing. I really suggest everyone to listen to it. He talks about being a disciple always, not just when it's convenient and loving God no matter what.

Oh also Elder Evans and I buzzed our heads.
