Chillin

 Hello everyone,

This week was good! I'm really getting comfortable with Spanish, obviously not understanding everything but ya. Lots of improvement since when I first got here!  (Luke told us on the phone today that he tried to pray in English the other day and it felt so weird to him!)



This week my companion's toe is like injured or something but one of the members has a friend that I guess is good at fixing feet? Idk man but she had some sharp tools and idk but apparently whatever she did worked. But it was fun because I was just chillin eating some delicious dedos and juice while my companion was in lots of pain. But you already know we talked to her, and she is interested in learning more about the church! Lol.
Some quick things I thought about this week:
One quote I've been thinking about is "All you can do is all you can do." I used to say it to myself a lot in terms of running but it also applies to the missionary grind and life in general. Focus on what I can do, do all I can, and then don't worry about anything else.
It's an act of humility to continue to read the scriptures. Because it means we want to keep learning and keep improving!

Stake Conference and Last Transfer

  What's up homies. Ya so these past 2 weeks were pretty good but also weird. We had stake conference and also zone conference with Prez and the wifey. Stake conference was fun-ish, just a long 2-hour meeting haha. But they had some good messages. But my comp and I were super tired and slept through a few talks, but we were hidden in the corner so don't worry about it.  But ya also we had the zone conference.  That was fun but also strange to think that I only have one left! It was great, talking about setting goals and that the Lord is speeding up the work and we need to as well.  President announced some big changes in our mission, which will really make it like a normal mission but it's gonna be very different. For example, we have district council at 6pm on pday. So we don't work at all on pday. Now it's gonna be on Tuesday morning so we can work at 6 on pday. We also are now supposed to be out of the house by 10 in the morning! I'm really happy about that o...

Party Week

  Hey y'all how's it going. So this week was another good one! We had 2 family home evenings this week and both had a lot of friends and fun games. One was with the family Varon, mafe, los elderes, Alex and Andrea, and Helmer on Friday. Then on Sunday night we were with Maribel y Sebastian, family Varon, Nancy and her kids, and Diana y Johnny. Both super fun!!  Also on Sunday we moved houses because the rent in the house we live in is going up a ton this month, so we are switching it up. Although we were very busy, we didn't end up moving our stuff until around 10:30 at night lol. The new house is nice, with a pretty fancy couch. Our bedroom is nice cuz we have a big window that gets good airflow, natural light to make it easy to wake up, and a decent view!  But ya other than that just your average week here.   Howdy there partner. This week was a good one, just working hard to get people to come to church and get baptized so that they can recieve more joy and peace in their lives through Jesus Christ. And this week was pretty good! We had 4 people come to church this week, and most importantly Carolina came and she has a baptismal date for June 29th! Imma miss it by a few days but it's chill. But ya it was a good week. We had a fun little activity on Friday and it rained so not many people came but we had some friends pull up and we shared about how to prepare for the second coming and the book of Mormon helps us a ton. Then we played a little game and that was fun. Then had a small treat and headed home.  Also I've been enjoying a lot more fast food this past week. I've only got a few more weeks to enjoy the delicious salchipapa and buñuelos so I'm trying to live it up. We had a little family night with the family Paniagua Diaz and that was fun.
