Level 19

 First and foremost: Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! Really made the day feel special. I made some pancakes and got a McFlurry so it was a good day.




Kade sent me this picture in my birthday email.  It made me laugh so hard.  (He's on the cross country team and Coach Power gave him this poster to give to my mom.  I guess I forgot to take it when I graduated.)





Second: Seth and Ryder, you guys can go cry because Colombia beat Brazil 2-1 and Uruguay beat Argentina.  We happened to have a visit with a member during the game...

We are teaching this guy named Jose and he is like a metal worker guy? Idk what its called but basically like cuts metal with a little tiny chainsaw-kinda-thing. We showed up to his house with him working and sparks flying into his face and body. We asked him if it hurt or was dangerous that he didnt have any gear to protect himself. He waved us off and said it wasnt dangerous at all! It was that exact moment that I noticed that he was missing a finger lol. 

2 nefi 26:25- "Behold, doth he cry unto any, saying: Depart from me? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; but he saith: Come unto me all ye ends of the earth..." 
Christ is always inviting us to come unto Him! Its always our choice if we leave Him. Its also our choice to follow Him. It's like Padme and Anakin in Revenge of the Sith. When Anakin turned to the dark side Padme said, "You're going down a path I can't follow😭" Deep Stuff.

Ginna got baptized this weekend too! She's really awesome and has a really strong testimony and a super strong desire to learn more and always asks questions when she has them.

Stake Conference and Last Transfer

  What's up homies. Ya so these past 2 weeks were pretty good but also weird. We had stake conference and also zone conference with Prez and the wifey. Stake conference was fun-ish, just a long 2-hour meeting haha. But they had some good messages. But my comp and I were super tired and slept through a few talks, but we were hidden in the corner so don't worry about it.  But ya also we had the zone conference.  That was fun but also strange to think that I only have one left! It was great, talking about setting goals and that the Lord is speeding up the work and we need to as well.  President announced some big changes in our mission, which will really make it like a normal mission but it's gonna be very different. For example, we have district council at 6pm on pday. So we don't work at all on pday. Now it's gonna be on Tuesday morning so we can work at 6 on pday. We also are now supposed to be out of the house by 10 in the morning! I'm really happy about that o...

Party Week

  Hey y'all how's it going. So this week was another good one! We had 2 family home evenings this week and both had a lot of friends and fun games. One was with the family Varon, mafe, los elderes, Alex and Andrea, and Helmer on Friday. Then on Sunday night we were with Maribel y Sebastian, family Varon, Nancy and her kids, and Diana y Johnny. Both super fun!!  Also on Sunday we moved houses because the rent in the house we live in is going up a ton this month, so we are switching it up. Although we were very busy, we didn't end up moving our stuff until around 10:30 at night lol. The new house is nice, with a pretty fancy couch. Our bedroom is nice cuz we have a big window that gets good airflow, natural light to make it easy to wake up, and a decent view!  But ya other than that just your average week here. We Good

  Howdy there partner. This week was a good one, just working hard to get people to come to church and get baptized so that they can recieve more joy and peace in their lives through Jesus Christ. And this week was pretty good! We had 4 people come to church this week, and most importantly Carolina came and she has a baptismal date for June 29th! Imma miss it by a few days but it's chill. But ya it was a good week. We had a fun little activity on Friday and it rained so not many people came but we had some friends pull up and we shared about how to prepare for the second coming and the book of Mormon helps us a ton. Then we played a little game and that was fun. Then had a small treat and headed home.  Also I've been enjoying a lot more fast food this past week. I've only got a few more weeks to enjoy the delicious salchipapa and buñuelos so I'm trying to live it up. We had a little family night with the family Paniagua Diaz and that was fun.
