I miss clash royale
First of all let me just say my mom changed my email last week to say "first day playing football (soccer)" and i did not write that. I know that its fútbol not football. Gosh. Embarrassing.
Another fast week, had exchanges with Elder Aulestia and the Multi Zone Conference! Very fun stuff. Also boring.
The usual:
I remember thinking in Challis during church "Wow, in a few weeks church is going to be totally in Spanish." And it's true! But it's actually the exact same. The speaker starts talking, I zone out, and then boom it's over. But I mean I did the same thing even when the speaker was talking in English. Also I've learned that if I am tired all I have to do is make it look like I'm saying a prayer and I can sleep all I want! People will just think, "wow look at that missionary, he's been praying for so long. I need to be more like that."
We got some breakfast at a bakery place nearby our apartment, and this dude saw me and said (in english with a thick accent) "Duuuude, where are you from?" and after talking with him for a second it was very obvious he was on drugs. In fact, he actually told me he was! Because "this is Colombia man!"

Spiritual:
This week I've been reading the Libro de Mormon a lot, and I'm currently in the war chapters of Alma. One thing I always like is that Moroni was always preparing beforehand. And the other thing that is interesting is that the Lamanites also prepare too! The first battle they didn't have any armor, but then in the next one they did! But Moroni was still more prepared! If he had simply decided that he was prepared because last time the Lamanites didn't have armor, the story would be a lot different I think. The point is, we need to always be preparing and strengthening our testimonies. Every day!!
Another thing I've learned/liked this week is prayers of gratitude. When I feel a bit homesick or just wanna go have fun with friends but I'm in different country, it always helps to just say a prayer of gratitude. There is always lots to be grateful for. Also my morning prayers have started getting pretty long, because the longer my prayer, the longer I can stay in bed.
Hope this week was good for everyone.
