Hey everyone! This week has been very good. I've gotten used to the walking and the humidity, but still working on the spanish. It's strange to think I haven't had a conversation in English in 2 weeks (besides talking to fam). But getting better for sure.



Some stuff
If you have ever heard that churches in South America are out of tune and can't sing, you have heard the truth. I swear I'm the only person singing the right notes. Not even the conductor is on pitch. We sang in the ward choir last week, you would think the people in the choir can sing right? Nope. It's hard not to laugh sometimes. 
Soups are very common here as a little side dish. They are always really good! But what the heck bro its freakin hot outside i do not want to drink your hot soup. Also if a smoothie is yellow it is going to be the best drink I've ever had in my life.
Spiritual stuff
Scriptures and hard work = good and happy. 
This week I made the goal to finish the Libro de Mormon before December. I was in Mosiah 18 so not an impossible goal. But as I started reading every chance I had, the days went by faster, I feel like I'm understanding and speaking the language better, and I'm just happier! I mean not that I wasn't happy before but just more so. It has been awesome.
Lots of people like having us over, but then don't read or pray or go to church when we return the next time. People say they are too busy to do it. First of all bro, you were literally taking a nap when we showed up to your house. But second of all I had the thought, if Jesus came and knocked on my door and asked me if I had 10 minutes to learn about him and strengthen our relationship, what would I say? "Sorry I'm just too busy today!" And there are busy days for sure, but everyone always has at least 5 minutes. 
This week has been good. Today will be my first day playing football (soccer) here so let's hope my skills from a youngster didn't disappear because when I was a kid I was basically Messi. When I score a goal my plan is to yell "ITS CALLED SOCCER BABY!" and then do fortnite dances.

Stake Conference and Last Transfer

  What's up homies. Ya so these past 2 weeks were pretty good but also weird. We had stake conference and also zone conference with Prez and the wifey. Stake conference was fun-ish, just a long 2-hour meeting haha. But they had some good messages. But my comp and I were super tired and slept through a few talks, but we were hidden in the corner so don't worry about it.  But ya also we had the zone conference.  That was fun but also strange to think that I only have one left! It was great, talking about setting goals and that the Lord is speeding up the work and we need to as well.  President announced some big changes in our mission, which will really make it like a normal mission but it's gonna be very different. For example, we have district council at 6pm on pday. So we don't work at all on pday. Now it's gonna be on Tuesday morning so we can work at 6 on pday. Party Week

  Hey y'all how's it going. So this week was another good one! We had 2 family home evenings this week and both had a lot of friends and fun games. One was with the family Varon, mafe, los elderes, Alex and Andrea, and Helmer on Friday. Then on Sunday night we were with Maribel y Sebastian, family Varon, Nancy and her kids, and Diana y Johnny. Both super fun!!  Also on Sunday we moved houses because the rent in the house we live in is going up a ton this month, so we are switching it up. Although we were very busy, we didn't end up moving our stuff until around 10:30 at night lol. The new house is nice, with a pretty fancy couch. Our bedroom is nice cuz we have a big window that gets good airflow, natural light to make it easy to wake up, and a decent view!  But ya other than that just your average week here.   Howdy there partner. This week was a good one, just working hard to get people to come to church and get baptized so that they can recieve more joy and peace in their lives through Jesus Christ. And this week was pretty good! We had 4 people come to church this week, and most importantly Carolina came and she has a baptismal date for June 29th! Imma miss it by a few days but it's chill. But ya it was a good week. We had a fun little activity on Friday and it rained so not many people came but we had some friends pull up and we shared about how to prepare for the second coming and the book of Mormon helps us a ton. Then we played a little game and that was fun. Then had a small treat and headed home.  Also I've been enjoying a lot more fast food this past week. I've only got a few more weeks to enjoy the delicious salchipapa and buñuelos so I'm trying to live it up. We had a little family night with the family Paniagua Diaz and that was fun.
