I'm literally in another country

 Greetings.

This week has been super good! Some days are hot and some days are not so bad, lots of walking and being very tired. I literally fell asleep while we were visiting a member's house. Actually I fell asleep at 2 separate houses. Also note to self: if anyone asks if I want arroz con leche, tell them I am full. Very bland in my opinion.
If you want an image of what it is like here, just watch the movie Rio. It's pretty much exactly like that lol.
Fun stuff:
My companion and I visited a friend who we are teaching and when she opened the door a small dog came flying out the door and raced to the nearby park. We went to go help catch the dog, but I seriously think it was on drugs or something. It is Colombia after all. But then when we finally got him my companion had ripped his pants trying to catch him! Luckily the lady had some stitching stuff though lol.
Also we have a neighbor who we share a wall with who will randomly scream in pain for 1 second and then nothing. When I looked at my companion confused he said that it was very normal.
Spiritual Stuff:
Saturday was a tough day because for some reason my legs and back were in lots of pain and I sometimes felt like I might pass out lol. But I didn't want to sound like a baby or anything so I just kept on workin. Then when we finally arrived back home, I was a little worried that I had gotten sick because everything hurt and my forehead felt very hot. I prayed that I would be able to wake up the next day and be able to work, and when I woke up the next morning I felt fine! No pain in my back at all! To put into perspective, I had a hard time even falling asleep that night due to the pain lol. But boom next morning, nada. I popped some pills just in case though.
One scripture I have really liked this week is: "Me amas mas que a estos?" Which means "lovest thou me more than these" or whatever. Obviously it is Jesus speaking, and he then says that we need to feed his sheep. But I also think it applies to just worshiping Him and doing the small things. Like I mean, before my mission it wasn't anything crazy but I probably spent a looot more time on my phone and watching TV than reading scriptures. Do I love Instagram more than Him? And what are my actions showing? The same thing applies on the mission with all of these stupid rules. But, I love Jesus and so I gotta obey. And I'm not saying we need to spend more time on scriptures than TV or whatever the distraction could be, but how do we show our love for him?
My final advice: don't take music for granted. All I can listen to is youth pop songs. Not fun.

For Lincoln and Benji: Terry made it to Colombia!

 I'm a chick magnet.

Hope everything is going good.
