Testigos (Witnesses)

Hey everyone! This was that last week of the transfer, and I'm going to Monteria, Edmundo Lopez 2 (la costa!!)

So these past few weeks Elder Briggs and I have been trying to get the bible of the Jehovah Witnesses. This week we found this lady who was like a teacher and we just asked like 100 questions and after like 45 minutes she let us inside, and then we asked if we could get Bibles and we did!!!

But the spiritual part of this was we obviously left our little message about the Book of Mormon, and she asked "How do you know is scripture if the Bible doesn't say anything about it?" And we read the promise of Moroni and beared our testimonies and the Spirit was so strong. She didn't accept it lol, but afterwards we both were like "wow, did you feel the spirit too when we talking about the Book of Mormon?"

Also I've been on a church history grind this week. The library app has so much stuff!! Reading about Joseph Smith's story and all that has been super interesting and has really helped my testimony that he was a prophet. And here's some facts about Colombia!

July 24, 1966 • Bogotá: The first member of the Church in Colombia was baptized.

1994 • Colombia Church membership in Colombia exceeded 100,000.

2024 - 2 Temples, 5 missions, and 230,000 ish members!

The work is so awesome, and I'm happy to be a part of it! The people I've meet in Pereira have been so amazing and I've loved it.

Chao!
